Our services are forensic evaluations, not therapy. We are impartial clinical evaluators who document psychological findings for the legal record. The clinical relationship is limited to the scope of the forensic evaluation and does not constitute a therapeutic or ongoing treatment relationship.

Protected health information (PHI) is disclosed only as authorized by your signed consent form, typically to the referring attorney and USCIS for the purpose of your immigration case.

4. Telehealth and Electronic Communications

All clinical evaluations are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. We use encrypted video conferencing for interviews and secure electronic systems for document storage and transmission.

While we implement reasonable safeguards to protect electronic communications, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted electronically.

7. Forensic Evaluation, Not Therapy

Kipu Terra LLC provides forensic psychosocial evaluations for immigration cases. Our services are not therapy, counseling, or ongoing mental health treatment. We do not accept insurance, as forensic evaluations are not covered by health insurance plans.

Payment is made directly to the firm. If you need ongoing mental health treatment, we can provide referrals to appropriate providers.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 via the website, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
